The Jefferson Community School is a non-profit, 7th-12th grade accredited school located in the heart of Port Townsend, WA. Students at JCS participate in a unique experiential education environment that offers top notch academics, regular expeditions, scholarships, financial assistance, a commitment to community and service. Opened in 2005, it is one of the only four independent educational institutions in Jefferson County.
The website is built using a full sized responsive theme in WordPress that looks and functions great on desktops and mobile devices. A dynamic header was built to display different images and text for different pages. A left sidebar widget area offers a secondary vertical menu to help navigate the diverse range of content on the site. The site also features student contributions and registration form.
